The photographs in my posts for my walk this week from the past (2009) were taken on my old Fuji compact camera – they are not monochrome as such but the camera has a “chrome” setting on it which in the high contrast light conditions that these photos were taken, gave a quite interesting and dramatic effect. Monochrome Murray’s Isles
This fifth of my walks from the past (2009) features today on the view across the bay from where we stay for a couple of weeks at different times each year. Continue reading
My Walk this Week, Past Walks 5 – Galloway Coastal
My walk this week is from 2009 and is perhaps less of a walk than usual as I have focused more on the main features of this coastal walk than on the features along the route. Continue reading
Watching the Waves and Reviewing the Walk
I had expected this to the starting point of my walk this week – watching the waves on Pagham Beach on the south coast of England. Pagham Boardwalk – Setting (Cropping) the Scene
It’s the combination of lines and textures I like about my choice of image at the head of today’s post about my walk at Pagham on the south coast of England. If you would like to donate to the Old Mill Foundation, please visit their website and click the “Donate” button.Continue reading
Aberystwyth Amble – Reviewing the Walk
If you have already seen this image on Instagram or Facebook of a sudden and unexpected sunset at the end of my Aberystwyth amble, then you can enjoy it again here. I was sitting in my car eating sandwiches before my two hour drive home and when I turned my head to look out to sea, this is what I saw. I immediately jumped out of the car and grabbed my camera from the boot – a good job I was quick too as a minute later the sun had disappeared again.Continue reading
My Walk this Week – Aberystwyth Seafront
My walk this week is on Aberystwyth seafront and from the overcast weather depicted you would not believe that half an hour earlier the sun had been shining and the sky blue. Neither was it raining at the time these photos were taken – but I still got soaked as I walked along the beach!
