Frosty marshes

My Walk this Week 191 – Frost and a Songthrush

My walk this week features frost and a song thrush who seemed oblivious to the cold and sang in the sunshine as though it were already Spring.

It isn’t Spring yet by any means, but there are signs that it will follow on eventually and it is so good to hear the birds singing on a bright day.

The soundscape this week includes the song thrushes beautiful notes and musical phrases but as I wanted to include other aural aspects of the walk, I have only included a minute or two of what was a much longer field recording – I just couldn’t pull myself away from the cheerful sounding bird, though I never managed to actually spot it.
