I said yesterday that my walk along Swansea Bay had changeable weather. I promise it does change – by that, I mean it stops raining! I suspect from the evidence of discarded bottles that it was not raining the previous night.

I appreciate the sentiment Simon, and would certainly prefer people to take their rubbish with them. Strangely, perhaps, I found the scene photogenic – the discarded bottles sitting on the steps in the rain was, I thought, quite atmospheric in a cinematic way. The weather was foul at that moment but there were still quite a lot of people out walking, running, walking dogs etc. We can’t let a little rain stop us doing things in South Wales, otherwise we would do nothing!
