Taste of Gower Oxwich – Reviewing the Walk

ToG walkers at Oxwich Bay Hotel

Looking back on this Taste of Gower walk at Oxwich Bay I think we would all agree that we were fortunate with the weather and the photo above, taken at Oxwich Bay Hotel, helps to confirm this.At a time of year when it can still be cold it was remarkably warm when in the shelter of Oxwich Burroughs.

Led through the maze of narrow footpaths by Charlotte and Helen from Gower Unearthed, we stopped from time to time to hear from them about some of the heritage of the area.  I also tried to focus on some of the sights and sounds of the walk and the the resultant soundscape can be listened to below while looking through a selection of the photos I have been posting through this past week.

The next ToG walk will take place on Friday 31st March but I will not be attending so walkers will need to look and listen to your themselves. This walk will be at Penmaen – see below for details.

The next ToG walk will meet at Penmaen car park at 10:30am. There are two car parks which you may use, however walkers should congregate at the smaller one which backs onto Three Cliffs Bay (see screen shot below).
