Dry Weather – Overgrowth and Undergrowth

In the park woodland the undergrowth is seeing an overgrowth and we have had so much unusually good weather lately that the water level in the park pond has dropped dramatically – the bullrushes are going well but the mud is being exposed.

My Walk this Week, Past Walks 6 – Salt Marshes

My walk this week is the last of six walks from the past (2010 in this instance) and takes another look back at a place I love to walk, namely our local salt marsh on the River Loughor estuary.
