My walk this week took me into and then up and over a heavy mist. It is a walk that is very familiar to me, but whatever changes there may be from day to day, mist, like snow, changes everything.
The holloway footpath disappeared into the murk and gave a sense of other-worldliness to my route. I felt as though anything could happen and at any moment it would. I wonder if this is a received feeling, one experienced as a result of watching movies like The Hound of the Baskervilles (am I ageing myself here?) or if misty scenes in horror movies were originally used because of the sense of the unknown they conjure in reality.
Love these foggy photos!
Thanks again. It was a strange and unique walk. Watch out for more this week
