I had expected this to the starting point of my walk this week – watching the waves on Pagham Beach on the south coast of England. My walk this week is on the south coast of England at a place called Pagham. As a location for a StillWalks production walk, I picked it out from aerial views of the place courtesy of Google Maps and Google Earth. Leaving Singleton Park in Swansea at the end of my walk this week around the botanic and ornamental gardens, we exited by the north entrance gates and found as much green growth on them as everywhere else in the park.Continue reading
While walking around Swansea’s botanic gardens we came upon a substantial camellia. Being well through Springtime the shrub was completing its cycle, but I find as much beauty in the death of these flowers as in their wonderfully coloured life. We have one in our own garden and every year it is a spectacle to enjoy.Continue reading
