The first of six weeks of looking back at walks I have done in the past took me to Skanda Vale and an extensive woodland in Carmarthenshire, Wales. I can’t remember what prompted me to go there but the ditch hikers walk, as it is known, was a good discovery. I never did see the elephant that is kept by the Skanda Vale community though there was evidence of it on the track as well as on a signpost by the road.
The soundscape for this walk is a sample of that which accompanies a different selection of images used in the StillWalks video I produced from this day in May 1013.
