I took a number of short walks when away in Scotland and while it is certainly possible that all the shots posted below are all from the same day (the weather can and does change quickly there), the photos actually span three days going from grey to gold across sea and sky.
However, you might be surprised to know that the “blue sky cloudscape” shot was taken just 90 minutes before the golden sundown shots. It can be wonderful to have good sunny weather throughout a holiday, but it is not very common in this part of the world and anyway, the changes can be dramatic and very entertaining when you are able to watch them over a wide sea and landscape.
That first photo looks like the face of a giant laying in the water!!! Very cool!!!
